 Based on 14
years of redistricting experience on national and international projects, Maptician for
School Planners, includes a comprehensive Attendance Area Redistricting System. The
software includes both manual and automated redistricting functions. The automated redistricting function uses an
intelligence model to create attendance areas which meet the student population targets
set by the user. The automated model can be run on a new district configuration or
be used to balance out an existing plan.
Manual redistricting tools allow
manipulation existing and computer generated districts. An Excel Compatible Spreadsheet
allows the user to dynamically display summary totals for any school district population
catagory.
