MapTP Mobile, puts the power of your web based mapping applications in the palm
of your hand. The following is a brief outline of some of the new in the software:
- Improved display. Enhancements have been made to simplify and
create a more compact user interface.
- Static/Cached Maps. Enhancement have been made to allow the use
maps stored locally on the PDA/Cell phone device.
- 3D Viewing. Users can now view the map in a 3D perspective.
- Satellite Imagery. Satellite imagery or aerial
photography can now be displayed on the PDA and Cellular devices
- Traffic and Weather Feeds. Up-to-date traffic and weather
information have been made available as an optional overlay on the map.
- Soap/XML based remote control
tools. The PDA/Cell
phone can now be remotely accessed through a web interface using SOAP.
- GPS Interface. MapTP mobile now includes interface for a
Blue Tooth enabled GPS Device.
- Point Interest Search. Users can not search and display points of
interest.
