Zoom Tools

Addresses can be located by entering a partial address, street intersection, place name, zip code or Latitude/Longitude coordinate.  A spell check is automatically performed in cases where addresses are misspelled.

As users zoom into an area, E-MAPS provides an increasing level of details.  For example, at full extent, the software will only display major roads such as Interstates and state routes.  As the user zooms in, the software will begin to display the local roads and at sufficient magnification, the street name labels.    The same multi-step display process applies to all level of data displayed in E-MAPS.  If desired, the user can modify or simply disable this function.
