LUCA

1. The Prepare Census AL/ACL Data Set step is taking a long time to process.
   
   The Census Address List file which is a text file and looks something like  (luca_al_XXXXXXX.txt) is stored in a format which is not directly support by Windows applications.  As a result, the Luca add-on tool has difficulty reading large Address list files. 
   
   To correct the problem, simply open the file in Windows WordPad and save as text.   This process adds proper line terminators to each record allowing the file to be opened in the application.  We have tested import of files as large as 500,000 records in less than 5 minutes. 
   
   
2. Error received during various steps "Object variable of with block variable not set".
   
   Certain layers loaded during the Establish Workspace may not exist for your agency.  Click the Source Tab and remove any layers with a Red Exclamation Mark next to them.
